Mike Foy, OBE, MBA, FCIOB, FCMI, has extensive experience in leadership and project management within the construction and education sectors. Currently serving as Past President of the Chartered Institute of Building since June 2020, Mike has previously held roles including Regional Head at the Department for Education and Head of Free Schools for the Education Funding Agency, overseeing the development and delivery of Free Schools in the Midlands and North West. With a notable tenure at St Helens Council from 1987 to 2011, Mike managed large-scale projects, including the £200 million Building Schools for the Future program, and held various senior leadership positions overseeing multiple council departments. Educational qualifications include postgraduate diplomas from both the Financial Times and The Open University, complemented by foundational studies at Liverpool Polytechnic.
