Rebecca Vieira is an accomplished professional in the chemical industry with extensive experience in product management and technical sales. Currently serving as Global Product Manager and Global Technology Manager for Advanced Performance Materials at The Chemours Company since November 2021, Rebecca previously held various roles at ExxonMobil from November 2016 to November 2021, including Field Engineer/Field Technical Sales and Group Lead for the Manufacturing and Grease Group. Prior to that, Rebecca worked at Afton Chemical as an R&D Scientist and Senior Researcher, where innovative engine oil components were developed. Early career experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at USAMRIID and a medicinal chemist role focused on developing therapeutics against biological threats. Rebecca holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Maryland and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
