Lashaunda Brown has over 20 years of work experience, starting in 2002 at AT&T as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, they managed customer accounts, sold and upsold strategic products and services, and handled billing inquiries. Lashaunda then advanced within the company, becoming a Customer Service and Sales Manager in 2011, a Sales Manager in 2012, and finally a Customer Loyalty Manager in 2016. Lashaunda worked in various managerial positions at AT&T until January 2021. In January 2021, they joined The Chicago Lighthouse as a Call Center Director.

Lashaunda Brown obtained an Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from Colorado Technical University. Lashaunda attended the university from 2016 to 2017. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in the same field at Colorado Technical University from 2017 to 2019. In addition to their academic achievements, they obtained additional certifications such as Notary Public from the Illinois Secretary of State in September 2021 and Insurance Consultant, Life from Primerica in November 2019.

In addition, The Lighthouse has developed several Social Enterprise businesses in the areas of Customer Service, Digital Accessibility Consulting, Manufacturing and Shipping that serve the dual purpose of providing our clients with accessible, inclusive jobs and generating revenue to support our clinical and social service programs.
