Tessa Vierk is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of The Chicago Tool Library, a position held since July 2018. In 2019, after extensive research, planning, and fundraising, Tessa opened Chicago's first community tool lending library. In this role, Tessa has overseen strategic planning, volunteer recruitment, daily operations, fundraising, budgeting, and board development, contributing to the effective management of a valued community nonprofit. Tessa earned a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and French from Indiana University Bloomington.
