Melissa Skottegaard's work experience includes roles in various companies. Melissa started their career in 1999 as a Sr. Director of Corporate Communications at GE Capital. Melissa then moved to Genworth (formerly General Electric) in 2005, where they served as a Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility until 2008. Following that, they joined The Hartford as a Vice President of Corporate Communications from 2008 to 2010. Melissa then worked at TIAA from 2010 to 2018, holding the position of Vice President of Communications & Chief of Staff. Currently, they serve as Chief Communications Officer (CCO) at The Cigna Group, a role they have held since 2022. Prior to that, within The Cigna Group, they were the Vice President and Head of Communications from 2018 to 2022.
