Tim DeMott, CVP, currently serves as the General Manager of The Classic Center Convention Center, where responsibilities include overseeing daily operations and ensuring high-quality service for over 700 annual events. Previous roles at The Classic Center include Director of Operations, focusing on event planning and execution, and Event Planner, managing client relationships for various types of events. Tim also has experience in the swimming community, having held positions such as Head Masters Coach for the Athens Bulldog Swim Club and Assistant Aquatics Manager at Albany Marine Corps Logistics Base. Tim DeMott holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a focus on Public Relations, as well as a Certificate in Music Business from The University of Georgia, complemented by an Associate of Arts in Music Performance and a Certificate in Church Music from Darton College.
