Michael Ignasiak is an accomplished information technology audit manager with extensive experience in the audit and consulting sectors. Since November 2021, Michael has been serving as an Information Technology Audit Manager at The Clearing House. Prior to this role, Michael was an Internal Audit Associate at Apollo Global Management LLC from May 2019 to November 2021. Michael began a significant career at Deloitte, where the journey included positions as an Advisory Senior Consultant and Consultant from September 2014 to May 2019, along with experience as a Business Risk Intern and Technology Risk Intern in 2013 and 2012, respectively. Michael’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Delaware (2013-2014) and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Delaware Alfred Lerner School of Business and Economics (2009-2013). Other early experiences include a counselor position at Camp Weequahic from 2007 to 2011.

The Clearing House is a banking association and payments company owned by the largest commercial banks, and dates back to 1853. The Clearing House Payments Company L.L.C. owns and operates core payments system infrastructure in the United States and is currently working to modernize that infrastructure by building a new, ubiquitous, real-time payment system. The Payments Company is the only private-sector ACH and wire operator in the United States, clearing and settling nearly $2 trillion in U.S. dollar payments each day, representing half of all commercial ACH and wire volume. Its affiliate, The Clearing House Association L.L.C., is a nonpartisan organization that engages in research, analysis, advocacy and litigation focused on financial regulation that supports a safe, sound and competitive banking system.
