Michael Rollins serves as the Director of Data and Systems at Cleveland Hearing & Speech Center since July 2022, where responsibilities include strategic direction, coordination of departmental activities, and collaboration on research initiatives. Previously, Michael worked as a Data Scientist, focusing on data collection procedures, analysis, and integration of data architecture. Michael holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics (Speech Acoustics) from Brigham Young University. Additionally, Michael has experience as a Research Assistant in the Physics Department at Brigham Young University, specializing in vocal effort measurement in various acoustic environments.

Cleveland Hearing & Speech Center (CHSC) is the nation’s oldest freestanding speech center, and Northeast Ohio’s only non-profit organization, dedicated solely to serving those with special communication needs. CHSC consistently serves thousands of children and adults each year in four service areas: Speech-Language and Learning, Audiology, Language Interpreting, and Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. CHSC offers screenings, evaluations, and therapy at our four office locations: University Circle, Broadview Heights, Westlake, and Lyndhurst. Mission Cleveland Hearing and Speech Center provides speech-language, hearing, language interpreting, and Deaf services.
