Arif Baig

Arif Baig is an experienced Corporate Compliance Manager at The Commonwealth since June 2017, responsible for designing and monitoring adherence to compliance policies and procedures. Previously, Arif held the role of Human Resources Business Partner-Recruitment, leading a team focused on timely recruitment and placement for various divisions. Prior to this, Arif served as Human Resources Manager at WorldFish, where key competencies included strategic HR management, change management, and multicultural diversity principles. Earlier career experiences include HR Officer and Acting HR Manager at the Commonwealth Secretariat, General Manager at BEXIMCO overseeing shrimp culture operations, and a Commissioned Officer - Lieutenant in the Bangladesh Navy. Arif holds a Naval Academy Graduation Diploma in People Management and Safety of Warship.
