David O'Neill

David O'Neill is an experienced academic and administrator currently serving as a Professor and Assistant Dean Emeritus at the Community College of Baltimore County since July 2019. O'Neill holds various leadership roles, including board member for the Maryland Radiation Advisory Board, Secretary of the Stewartstown Water and Sewer Authority, and Secretary of the Board for the American Landscape Institute. Prior to the current position, O'Neill was an Assistant Dean for Science at the same institution from January 2010 to July 2019, managing faculty and staff across multiple campuses and overseeing significant renovations. O'Neill's background includes program management and instruction in Water and Wastewater treatment and Biological Sciences as a Professor and Science Department Chairperson from August 2005 to January 2010. O'Neill's academic credentials include a PhD in Aquaculture/Behavioral Ecology from the University of Maryland, a master's degree in Zoology from the University of Rhode Island, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Towson University.
