James Gerst

James Gerst is a dedicated nursing student at the Community College of Baltimore County, where studies in practical nursing commenced in 2022. Concurrently, James has held multiple roles at Maiwand Kabob since June 2013, including Assistant Manager, part-time Assistant Restaurant Manager, and Restaurant Manager, consistently delivering exceptional customer service and managing various operational responsibilities. Previously, James founded Hooyo's Tea from November 2016 to September 2019, creating bold loose-leaf tea blends and contributing to educational improvements in Somalia. Furthermore, during a brief tenure at Epic Bean Coffee LLC, James focused on relationship-building with restaurant owners and innovative marketing strategies. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship from the University of Baltimore and an Associate of Arts in Entrepreneurship from Howard Community College.
