Joann Moorer

Joann Moorer is an accomplished music professional with extensive experience in various educational and performance roles. Currently serving as Adjunct Music Faculty at the Community College of Baltimore County since February 2022, Joann also holds the position of Minister of Music at First English Evangelical Lutheran Church since March 2017. With a long-standing affiliation as Applied Music Faculty in Voice and Piano at Garrison Forest School since September 2012, Joann's performance background includes roles as Soprano, Sublist at Washington National Cathedral since November 2006 and as Cantor, Soprano Soloist for the Catholic Community of South Baltimore from January 2016 to December 2022. Joann's previous roles also encompass Assistant Director at The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University and Assistant Director of Music at Chevy Chase Presbyterian Church. Joann’s education includes studies at The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University, reinforcing a solid foundation in music education and performance.
