Maia Anderson

Maia Anderson currently serves as the Associate Director at Every Child PDX, focusing on enhancing the Portland area's foster system by fostering collaboration between various community stakeholders and Oregon's Department of Human Services. With a strong background in foster family recruitment and retention initiatives, Maia oversees programs such as Explore Fostering Socials and Foster Parents' Night Out. Prior experience includes roles at Olive Crest as a Placement & Therapeutic Family Coordinator and Foster Family Specialist, and earlier positions at organizations like Washington State Microenterprise Association and the U.S. Department of Justice. Maia holds a Master's degree in Policy Studies from the University of Washington and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Seattle University.
