The Council on Recovery is Houston’s oldest & largest non-profit organization providing prevention, education, intervention, treatment, and recovery services for individuals and their families affected by alcoholism, drug abuse, and co-occurring mental health disorders. Founded in 1946, The Council is the only organization of its kind providing services to every age and stage in life: Programs for new mothers and babies. Child and adolescent services. The Council truly does what many traditional rehab centers don’t - we turn no one away.
