Cynthia Dong

Layout Designer, Illustrator, And Photographer at The Daily Pennsylvanian, Inc.

Cynthia Dong is an undergraduate student at the University of Pennsylvania, pursuing diverse experiences in research, education, and creative direction. Currently serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Cynthia is involved in a research program focused on bone health and Chronic Kidney Disease. As Creative Director at Waterroots, Cynthia manages social media content, develops educational curricula, and designs marketing materials. Additional roles include tutoring at the Weingarten Learning Center, photography for The Daily Pennsylvanian, and research internships at The Hormel Institute and Penn Dental Medicine. Previous experience includes a clinical engineering internship at Medtronic, instruction at Little Dragon Summer Camp, and a teaching assistant position at the Minnesota Institute for Talented Youth. Cynthia holds a high school diploma from Mounds View Senior High School.
