Avery Danae Williams

Avery Danae Williams is a Creative Arts Community Action Fellow at Princeton University, where a first-year orientation program was designed to explore the intersection of arts fields. As the Founding Poet and Writer at Avery Danae Writes, Avery focuses on themes such as the Black experience, mental health, and LGBTQIA2S+ awareness, while also ensuring accessibility in poetry recordings. Involvement includes writing reflections for Saint Dominic Academy, participation in the Princeton Presbyterians Undergraduate Leadership Team, and contributions as a staff writer for The Daily Princetonian, specializing in self-essays. Previous roles include serving in various community and creative capacities, such as a college application helper, a production assistant for a documentary film, and an active member of local church ministries. Avery is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology at Princeton University and has amassed a diverse educational background in literature and poetry.
