Daniel Cunningham

Daniel Cunningham is a seasoned horticulturist and co-founder of Rooted In, where involvement began in November 2020. Concurrently, Daniel serves as a special contributor for both The Dallas Morning News and NBC DFW since 2017, and has authored content for Edible Dallas & Fort Worth Magazine and Texas Gardener Magazine. Prior experience includes a role at Texas A&M AgriLife Research from January 2015 to October 2020, focusing on water conservation and sustainable landscaping practices. Daniel's academic background includes a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Environmental Horticulture from Texas Tech University, completed between 2009 and 2014.
