Ron Sartini currently serves as the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman (CIS Ombudsman).
Prior to becoming the CIS Ombudsman, Mr. Sartini served in several capacities in United States Citizenship and Immigration Services’ Immigration Records and Identity Services Directorate, Identity and Information Management Division. Mr. Sartini held the positions of Chief-of-Staff, Business Operations and Integration Branch Chief, and Communication and Training Branch Chief. Mr. Sartini led the program through which USCIS collects the biometrics of approximately four million immigration benefit applicants annually.
Previously, Mr. Sartini served as the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) Senior Risk Analyst in the Office of the Administrator, spearheading efforts to optimize TSA’s security effectiveness and operational efficiency.
A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., Mr. Sartini earned a B.A. in Politics from the Catholic University of America and an M.B.A. with a concentration in Marketing from the City University of New York.
