Samir Dhir has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Samir is currently the Director of Hotel Operations at The DeSoto. Prior to that, they worked at Palm Heights Hotel as Hotel/F&B Operations. Before their role at Palm Heights Hotel, they operated as a Food & Beverage consultant under S Dhir Consulting. Samir also served as the General Manager of Food & Beverage at Perry Lane Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Savannah. Earlier in their career, they worked at Inn at Perry Cabin as the Director of Food and Beverage and Director of Special Projects. Samir started their career in the hospitality industry with Enchantment Group - Hotels, Resorts, and Spas, where they served in a Food & Beverage role.

Samir Dhir obtained a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from Southern New Hampshire University in 2001. Additionally, they pursued a degree in Hospitality Management with a focus on Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management at the Hotel Institute Montreux. Samir also earned another Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from the IMI International Management Institute Switzerland. In 2014, they obtained the Sommelier III certification from an institution in the USA.
