Jason Watson has an extensive work experience in various industries. Jason started their career in 1996 as a Business Development Manager for American Woodmark, where they focused on educating retail employees and establishing a builder direct model. Jason then worked as the Director of Sales for MindBlazer, where they created education-based marketing platforms for Fortune 1,000 companies. Jason also established strategic alliances with major clients such as Pfizer and Cisco Systems.
In 2003, Jason joined Bridgeway Media Group as the Director of Business Development, responsible for creating multi-media marketing programs for national home builders. Jason successfully established national deals with manufacturers and implemented online databases for product selection.
In 2006, Jason founded the Dublin Dog Co, a global business specializing in dog collars. Jason oversaw all aspects of the company, including product development, branding, marketing, sales, and operations. Jason sold the business to Remington Outdoor Company in 2012 and continued as the Director in charge of the Sporting Dog category. Jason led the integration of Dublin Dog brand, expanded market share, and managed a team of direct reports.
During their tenure at Remington, Jason also created a new division called RK9, which focused on highly customized canine products for Law Enforcement and Defense. Jason developed products for specialized agencies within a year of launching the division.
In 2015, Jason joined Capewell Aerial Systems as the Director of Marketing and Business Development. Jason played a crucial role in growing the K9 and ballistic body armor divisions by utilizing their entrepreneurial skills and product development expertise.
In 2018, Jason held two positions simultaneously. Jason became the CEO and Founder of Recon K9 LLC, where they developed K9 products for Military, Federal, and Law Enforcement agencies. Jason also served as the SVP of Sales and Business Development and Partner at The Dog Wizard, utilizing their entrepreneurial knowledge to help individuals start their own dog training business.
Lastly, in 2006, Jason founded the Dublin Dog Foundation 501 C(3), which aims to foster the therapeutic and service roles of dogs. The foundation has raised over $125,000 and provided service dogs to six special needs individuals, with plans to expand its reach.
Jason Watson completed their education at Florida State University from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications/Public Relations. Prior to attending university, Jason attended St. Anthony High School from 1989 to 1992, however, no specific degree or field of study is mentioned.
