Derek Newsom

Derek Newsom is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and product management. As the Head of Engineering & Product at The Dyrt since June 2022, Derek has been instrumental in driving product innovation. In addition to this role, Derek serves as Co-Founder of ExLabs since February 2023 and Co-Founder and Partner at Inqubator LLC, an organization dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs. Previous positions include CTO and Co-Founder of Yonder, a platform for unique overnight stays, and various technical roles at companies such as Nvoicepay, Omega | Dinim Software LLC, and Our Alchemy. Derek's educational background includes studies at Portland State University from 2008 to 2011.
