Sierra Tucker

Sierra Tucker has worked in a variety of roles since 2018. In that year, they were an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Montana State University-Bozeman. In 2020, they were an Event Production Crew Member at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Inc. and a Wilderness Therapy Field Instructor at Clearview TRAILS Wilderness Therapy. In 2021, they were a Customer Service Specialist and Cashier at Winter Ridge Natural Foods and is currently a Backend Software Engineer at Turing School of Software & Design, where they are engaged in solo, paired, and group coding projects focusing heavily on Test Driven Development and is developing skills in git/GitHub, frameworks, including Ruby on Rails, and SQL/PostgresSQL. In 2022, they will begin working as a Backend Developer at The Dyrt.

Sierra Tucker graduated from Montana State University-Bozeman in 2020 with a degree in Cell Biology and Neuroscience and a Minor in Sierra'spanic Studies, studying Biomedical Sciences, General. In 2021, Sierra began attending the Turing School of Software & Design to pursue a degree in Backend Software Engineering. Sierra also holds certifications as a Wilderness First Responder from Wilderness Medical Associates International, obtained in May 2020, and as an Emergency Medical Technician, Basic, obtained in May 2019 from Inter Mountain Medical Educators Inc.
