Tara Stephenson

Tara Stephenson has extensive experience in accounting and finance, currently serving as a Senior Accountant at East Coast Migrant Head Start Project since September 2022. Previously, Tara held the position of Finance Manager at Inter-Faith Council for Social Service, managing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Human Resources from September 2016 to September 2022. Prior roles include Community Association Manager at Community Association Services, Inc., overseeing financials for multiple Homeowner Associations, Bookkeeper for nine Family Fare Convenience Stores, and Assistant Manager at Maisons-sur-Mer, responsible for significant Accounts Receivable and Payable activities. Additional experience includes Program Manager and Consultant positions at Florida Blue, along with a decade at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina in various analytical and customer service roles. Tara holds a Master of Business Administration in Accounting and Business/Management from Meredith College and a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish Language and Literature from Appalachian State University.
