Michael Girod is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in credit risk analysis and financial management. Currently serving as a Senior Credit Risk Analyst at The Energy Authority since October 2017, Michael has previously held positions including Credit Risk Analyst at the same firm, Financial Associate at Invenergy LLC, and Summer Associate at Triangle Petroleum Corporation. Michael’s foundational experience is complemented by a robust internship and rotational program at General Electric, where responsibilities spanned various finance functions. Early career roles also include Multifamily Underwriter at Freddie Mac and Market Analyst at NYSE Euronext. Michael holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
