Weixi Zhong, PhD has a diverse work experience. From 2008 to 2009, they were an Undergraduate Student Researcher at The Johns Hopkins University, developing Mucus-Penetrating Drug Delivery Particles. During 2009, they were a Bioinformatics Intern at Caltech, assembling and organizing E. tribuloides Transcriptome Database. From 2011 to 2017, they were at the University of California, Berkeley, first as a Graduate Student Researcher developing tools for studying cell mechanotransduction, then as a Graduate Student Instructor for Biological Performance of Materials. Since 2017, they have been with EVERY™, starting as a Strain Engineering Scientist, then becoming a Strain Engineering Scientist II, and finally a Senior Scientist, Strain Engineering.
Weixi Zhong, PhD, obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University in 2011. Weixi then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley, which they completed in 2016.
