Carl Peterson has extensive experience in IT management and systems programming, currently serving on the IT Management Team at AAFES since November 2009, focusing on IMS zSeries support and the implementation of IMS PLEX with data sharing. Prior to AAFES, Carl Peterson worked at Electronic Data Systems from February 1991 to August 2008 as an IMS Systems Engineer/Programmer, specializing in IBM's IMS and MQseries system maintenance and performance optimization. Additional roles included Senior Operator, responsible for system maintenance and customer support, and Team Leader in tape processing during training as a Computer Operator. Carl Peterson holds a BS in Mainframe Infrastructure from IT professional education and an Associate's degree in Electronics from Lee College.
