Exploratorium
Scott Hindes, a Bay Area native, graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in civil engineering and spent the majority of his construction career with Peter Kiewit Sons’ Co., where he retired as vice president in charge of their marine operations. He was president of the California Dredging Contractors Association. Upon retirement, in addition to consulting nationally and internationally on various projects, he founded Call America Business Communications, a telecommunications company serving the Central Coast.
Scott has served as an arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association and several terms on the Orinda, CA Planning Commission. He is also the President of the Barrett & Margaret Hindes Foundation.
