Martha Ehmann Conte

Vice Chair at Exploratorium

Martha has lived in San Francisco for over 20 years and is an active philanthropist, angel investor, and civic leader. She serves on the Boards and Committees of a number of nonprofit organizations, including the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area, and Point Blue Conservation Science. Recently, she co-founded a political action committee to find and support center-right Republican women to run for federal elected office.

Martha’s professional background includes 15 years of brand-strategy consulting and consumer advertising, fields in which she held executive-level positions at Ogilvy & Mather and at Prophet Brand Strategy, before retiring to devote time to her family and civic engagement.

Martha earned an AB in economics from Princeton University and is the mother of four. She enjoys hiking, traveling, and continuous learning.
