Michael Jacobson is the senior vice president, general counsel, and secretary of eBay Inc. and has served as such since joining the company in 1998. His responsibilities include all legal and regulatory matters involving the company and its subsidiaries around the world as well as its government relations function. Prior to joining eBay, Mike was a partner with the law firm Cooley Godward LLP. Mike received his AB magna cum laude from Harvard University and his JD from Stanford Law School, where he was the Nathan Abbot Scholar.
