Ben Ray

Ben Ray is a highly experienced legal professional currently serving as a Manager in the Prudential team within the General Counsel's Division at the Financial Conduct Authority since March 2018. In this role, Ben Ray advises on various regulatory issues, including prudential regulation of investment firms and governance rules. Prior to this, Ben Ray held the position of Senior Associate in the Banking, Consumer Credit, and Competition team, focusing on payment services. Ben Ray's career also includes significant legal roles in the Government Legal Department, Cabinet Office, and The Home Office, where responsibilities ranged from leading teams on product regulation and Brexit preparations to advising on immigration and EU law matters.
