The Florey
Lachlan Thompson is a Professor in the School of Medical Sciences at the University of Sydney since January 2023 and serves as a Senior Principal Research Fellow at The Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health since June 2021. Thompson has held prior positions at the Florey Neuroscience Institutes from 2008 to June 2020, where roles included Senior Research Fellow and Senior Research Officer. Additionally, Thompson was an Associate Investigator at Stem Cells Australia from January 2012 to December 2019 and an NHMRC CDA Fellow with the National Health and Medical Research Council from January 2011 to December 2015. Educational background includes attendance at Yarra Valley Anglican School.
