The Footsoldiers Design Consultancy Ltd. is a design studio specializing in footwear. Established by two London-based designers, Hector Rubio and Tom Astrella.

Hector came from the factory-floor learning traditional shoemaking techniques, and Tom from a Product Design background with technical expertise in precision mould making.

Having worked in the industry for over 10 combined years, the pair have first-hand experience of the entire footwear production process: research, trend analysis, sketches, renders, CAD’s, all the way through to development and production.
