Wouter Kallemeijn

PLRS Chemical Biology & Therapeutics Discovery at The Francis Crick Institute

Wouter Kallemeijn is a prominent researcher in the field of Chemical Biology, currently serving as an EPSRC Impact Acceleration Award Fellow at both The Francis Crick Institute and Imperial College London since January 2021 and March 2017, respectively, with a focus on investigating novel co- and post-translational modifications of proteins. Prior to these roles, Wouter Kallemeijn held postdoctoral fellowships at Leiden University, including the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship and the Royal Society Newton Fellowship, from April 2014 to February 2017, where the development of activity-based probes for retaining glycosidases was a primary area of research. Wouter Kallemeijn completed a PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Amsterdam, following a Master's degree in the same field and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from HZ University of Applied Sciences.
