Margaret Iacono Wertz

Margaret Iacono Wertz is an accomplished art historian and curator with extensive experience at The Frick Collection, where roles have included Associate Research Curator and Assistant Curator since 2006. Major contributions include overseeing the planning and execution of significant exhibitions such as "Vermeer, Rembrandt, and Hals: Masterpieces of Dutch Painting from the Mauritshuis." Previous positions at The Frick Collection involved assisting the Chief Curator and participating in numerous research and educational projects. Early career experiences include roles at D. Wigmore Fine Art and Insignia Residential Group, with foundational training as an intern at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Margaret holds a Master of Fine Arts in Art History from the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University, a Bachelor of Arts from Barnard College, Columbia University, and is currently a part-time MPhil/PhD candidate at the University of Buckingham.
