Prior to this role, Karen was an Underwriter at BMW Financial Services (GB) Ltd from May 1999 to November 2005, specializing in vehicle finance underwriting for both retail and corporate clients, with amounts up to £100k. Karen's career began at NatWest, where from 1983 to March 1997, responsibilities included reviewing and improving the quality of 24% of the Bank’s regional lending book, valued at £240 million, across 93 branch locations.
