Johannes Hunger has extensive experience in strategic planning and policy analysis, currently serving as Chief Advisor and Head of Special Projects at The Global Fund since July 2007. Prior roles at The Global Fund include Head of Strategic Information and Senior Manager of Strategy and Policy. Prior to this, Johannes Hunger was a Senior Strategy Consultant at Boston Consulting Group from March 2004 to June 2007, and held the position of Senior Management Consultant at Droege Group from October 2001 to March 2004. Earlier in the career, Johannes Hunger served as Research Group Director and Junior Professor at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science, and as an Academic Research Fellow and Emmy Noether Scholar at The London School of Economics and Political Science from September 1998 to September 2000.
