Regis Chikomborero Choto is a public health specialist with extensive experience in monitoring and evaluation within the health sector. Currently serving as a Specialist for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria since October 2019, Regis oversees investment portfolios in Kenya and Mozambique, focusing on HIV, TB, and malaria programs while enhancing health system performance. Prior experience includes serving as the National ART Coordinator and Deputy National ART Coordinator at the Ministry of Health and Child Care from 2011 to 2019, where Regis led the national Care and Treatment program and facilitated service decentralization. Regis also held the position of Director of Health Services at Norton Town Council from 2007 to 2011 and has foundational training in medicine, holding an MBChB and MPH from the University of Zimbabwe.
