Mark Plewis

Mark Plewis is a seasoned web developer with extensive experience in both front-end development and graphic design. Currently serving as a Senior Web Developer at The Globe and Mail since April 2016, Mark has played a key role in migrating the website to the Arc publishing platform alongside partners at the Washington Post. Previous experience includes positions as a Front-End Developer at Mosaic Sales Solutions, where Mark focused on user experience and mentoring junior developers, and as Lead Web Developer at Rhubarb Media Inc., managing projects through all phases of the systems development life cycle. Initial roles involved graphic design at Wolf Steel Ltd. and Metroland Media Group, alongside freelance work through Insomniac Design Group. Educational qualifications include a diploma in Graphic Design from Georgian College and a certificate in Permaculture Design from The Living Centre.
