Nafid Ahmed has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Nafid started their career in 2001 as an IT Strategist and In-charge of the Online Edition and IT Page at The Daily Star, BD. Nafid also served as the Digital Media Editor and later became the Chief Digital Officer at One Million Acts of Innovation. In 2013, Nafid joined The Globe and Mail, where they held various positions such as Senior Digital Analyst, Manager, Director, and eventually Vice President, overseeing analytics, data science, and consumer insights. Nafid also worked as a Digital Marketing Consultant at NaturallySavvy.com and Tenthline. In addition, Nafid has worked as a Technology and Communication Consultant as a freelancer.

Prior to this, they earned a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Dhaka in an unspecified year.
