Peter Simic has over 16 years of extensive experience in category management, currently serving as the National Category Manager for Refrigeration & Laundry at The Good Guys since January 2007. In this role, responsibilities include product cataloguing, life cycle management, trading terms, rebate negotiations, and the sourcing of new products. Previously, Peter held various national category manager positions, managing audio and telecommunications products. Prior to joining The Good Guys, Peter was the General Manager at PORTCOM/TELSTRA SHOP, overseeing sales, marketing, support, training, and daily operations with a team of 25 and an annual turnover exceeding $5 million. Peter is also a graduate of Mt Eliza Business School, having completed an Accelerated Development for Managers program in 2014.

In November 2016, JB Hi-Fi acquired The Good Guys, identifying the brand to be a strong strategic fit.
