Danny Hertz is an experienced literary manager currently working at The Gotham Group since October 2021. Previously, Danny served as a literary agent at The Cheney Agency from June 2019 to November 2021 and was involved in film and TV development at Contend between August 2016 and August 2018. Danny's career began at United Talent Agency in the Media Rights Department from September 2012 to July 2016 and included a role as an assistant/intern at Grisbi Productions from January 2010 to October 2012. Danny holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Media Studies from Occidental College, earned between 2010 and 2012.

Sulzberger, and premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, where it was acquired for distribution by Netflix, who released the film to race review in April 2018. In 2020, Gotham produced the movie adaptation of Jerry Spinelli's STARGIRL, which is one of the most beloved and acclaimed YA novels, which over a million copies in print worldwide. STARGIRL was be one of the first original productions for Walt Disney Studios' streaming platform, Disney+.
