Adam Venrick currently serves as an Instructional Aide at Los Angeles Unified School District, assisting at 9th Street Elementary School since August 2024. As of July 2024, Adam also takes on the role of Substitute ESL Teacher at Columbia West College and has been tutoring at Sylvan Learning since May 2024. Additionally, Adam contributes as a writer for The Hard Times since May 2023 and has maintained a freelance acting career since November 2014. Previous experience includes working as a Membership Counselor at LA Fitness, a Game Master at 60OUT Escape Rooms, and a Radio Disk Jockey at 91.1 WDUB FM from January 2018 to August 2023, where Adam hosted multiple shows. Adam holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre/Theater and Anthropology/Sociology from Denison University, where employment as a Reference Librarian and Intern at Vail Series took place from August 2017 to August 2023.

The Hard Times is a very real punk news site that you should not question. Just absorb the information as truth and move on. The historic satire site was founded in December 1982 at 171A studios while the founding members were eating broken glass with The Bad Brains. It’s made by a group of punk and hardcore kids from all the different sub-genres of the DIY hardcore scene. Any resemblance to actual persons or band names is coincidental. We love hardcore. None of this is done with hate.
