Jaco Wong

Jaco Wong serves as the Upper School Instrumental Music Director at The Harker School since August 2022, following a role as Instrumental Music Director for the Middle School from August 2020 to June 2021. Additionally, Jaco has been the Music Director at Pacific Palisades Presbyterian Church since January 2015, overseeing the chancel choir and directing special music events. Jaco's conducting experience includes serving as Assistant/Cover Conductor for the Oakland Symphony from June 2021 to June 2024, with a notable conducting debut at the Michael Morgan Memorial Concert. Previous positions also include Choral Director roles at Pacific Palisades Charter High School and Esperanza Azteca Los Angeles, as well as a Music Arranger for The Hong Kong Show Choir. Jaco Wong holds multiple degrees, including a Professional Studies Certificate in Orchestral Conducting from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and a Master's of Music in Music Composition & Choral Music from the University of Southern California.
