Joe Nadeau

Joe Nadeau is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in underwriting and account management, currently serving as the Assistant Vice President of National Account Underwriting at The Hartford since March 2007. Nadeau oversees a substantial in-force book with a value of approximately $3.5 billion in Life, Disability, and Supplemental Health lines of coverage. Prior roles include leading underwriting teams for both Group Life and Disability business and Group Reinsurance Plus, demonstrating expertise in client management and relationship development. Nadeau's career began in the United States Air Force, where leadership roles involved program oversight and personnel management from June 1998 to June 2020. Nadeau holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
