Kristen Gallerneaux

Editor In Chief Of Digital Curation at The Henry Ford

Kristen Gallerneaux, PhD, serves as the Digital Exhibition Curator at Kresge Arts In Detroit since November 2023 and has been with The Henry Ford since September 2013, where roles include Editor in Chief of Digital Curation and Curator of Communication & Information Technology. Gallerneaux is also a co-founder of the independent music label Metaphysical Powers, established in July 2020, which focuses on electronic compositions and releases works by various artists. Previous experience includes curatorial and instructional roles, such as Lecturer on the History of Modern Design at Wayne State University and Art Cataloger at the University of Oregon. Gallerneaux holds multiple degrees, including a PhD in Art Practice with a focus on Art History, Media Theory, and Criticism from UC San Diego, as well as a Master of Fine Arts in Printmaking and Sculpture from Wayne State University.
