Kevin Dayaratna

Kevin Dayaratna is a highly experienced statistician and data scientist currently serving as Chief Statistician, Data Scientist, and Senior Research Fellow at The Heritage Foundation since January 2012. In addition to this role, Kevin has been an Adjunct Professor of Mathematics and Statistics at Georgetown University since January 2023 and held teaching positions at The George Washington University and the University of Maryland College Park. Kevin's academic background includes a Ph.D. and an MA in Mathematical Statistics from the University of Maryland, complemented by a Master's in Business and Management and a Bachelor's in Applied Mathematics from UC Berkeley. Throughout a notable career, Kevin has contributed significantly to research and teaching within the fields of statistics and economics.
