Deepak Bhatia

Deepak Bhatia serves as the Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President at The Hershey Company since October 2023. Previously, Bhatia spent over 12 years at Amazon in various vice president roles, leading large technology teams focused on supply chain optimization, inventory planning, and automation. Prior to Amazon, Bhatia held positions at Applied Materials, managing global inventory optimization and advanced applications for inventory management. Bhatia began a career in engineering at Daewoo Motors India Limited, overseeing the Body Manufacturing Engineering section. Bhatia holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Operations Research from Stanford University and a Master’s in Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering from Purdue University, alongside a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from both Punjab Engineering College and Panjab University.
