Anup Kumar Halder

Anup Kumar Halder, MIEAust, currently serves as a Subdivision Engineer at The Hills Shire Council since July 2023. Prior to this role, Anup held the position of Development and Design Engineer at Muswellbrook Shire Council from June 2020 to July 2023 and worked as an Executive Engineer (Technical) on the JICA-funded UBSP project in Bangladesh from June 2005 to September 2018, overseeing significant construction initiatives. Anup's experience also includes serving as Sub Divisional/Assistant Engineer, Project Coordinator at MAK International, and Assistant Engineer at Apartment Design and Development Ltd (ADDL). Anup holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, along with a Diploma in Civil Design and a Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting from TAFE NSW. Academic credentials also include secondary education from Notre Dame College and Kadamtala Purbo Bashabo High School & College.
