Amber Depena Appiah

Amber DePena Appiah is a seasoned human resources professional with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Currently serving as SSC Senior Human Resources Manager at The Home Depot since November 2021, Amber previously held the position of Director of Human Resources at The Westin Peachtree Plaza, overseeing all HR operations for a 1,073-room hotel and managing employee relations for over 600 associates. Prior roles include Director of Human Resources at Hyatt Regency Atlanta, where strategic direction and team development were key focuses, and Human Resources Manager positions at Westin Hotels & Resorts and Sheraton Atlanta Hotel, highlighting expertise in employee engagement and HR policy management. Amber is an alumna of Georgia State University.
