Kira Matus

Kira Matus is an accomplished academic and professional with extensive experience in public policy, sustainability, and interdisciplinary studies. Currently serving as Associate Dean for Taught Postgraduate Studies and Professor at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Kira also holds positions as President of the Women's Faculty Association and Associate Head of the Division of Public Policy. Kira's past roles include Deputy Head and Senior Lecturer at University College London, Co-Director of a project at the Harvard Kennedy School focused on sustainable development and technology innovation, and Assistant Professor at the London School of Economics. With a solid educational foundation, including a PhD in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and degrees in Technology and Policy from MIT and Chemistry from Brown University, Kira Matus has significantly contributed to the fields of public policy and sustainable practices through research, teaching, and leadership.
